Powerful BMW XM by G-Power: 937 Horsepower and Unique Design
The BMW XM, which debuted in 2022, became the basis for a unique project by the German tuner G-Power. The car received not only a more powerful engine but also an aggressive carbon fiber body kit, a new exhaust system, and massive wheels.
The heart of this SUV is a hybrid power unit based on a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8. After modifications, it produces 937 hp (699 kW) and 1400 Nm of torque. For comparison, the standard XM version has 738 hp and 1000 Nm.
The performance increase was made possible by tuning the standard engine control unit’s software, including changes to boost pressure parameters, ignition, and more.
Design and Additional Options
Externally, the XM is adorned with carbon fiber elements from Mansory: a splitter, bumper, side skirts, diffuser, and spoiler. The color is bright orange with dark accents, characteristic of G-Power projects. The interior can also be ordered with individual styling.
For owners of standard XMs, the company offers two upgrade packages: for 838 hp and 888 hp. In addition, an even more powerful version with 1000 hp and a full-fledged Deeptone sports exhaust system is being prepared.
Similar modifications are also available for the G90 sedan and G99 wagon, which use a similar hybrid platform. The cost of tuning is not disclosed – for details, it is suggested to contact the company directly.
This project demonstrates how much serial BMW models can change after professional tuning. A performance increase of almost 200 hp without changes to the engine’s design is an impressive result that makes the XM one of the fastest SUVs in the world.
