Brisa is the largest tire manufacturer in Turkey. In Europe, the producer ranks sixth in terms of sales volume. The company produces tires under the Lassa brand. Tires under this logo are popular worldwide due to their durability and wear resistance. Until now, the company’s production capacities have been concentrated in a single factory located near Istanbul.
This facility covers an area of 1 million square meters. The factory produces 11 million tires annually. Brisa’s own research center enables the development of tires that align with modern consumer trends. The manufacturer also cooperates with the Technical Center – Bridgestone. Lassa tires are exported to 30 countries.
Each product meets the following quality standards: ISO 9000:2001, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949:2002.
About the new Brisa factory
The manufacturer announced the opening of a new factory in the city of Aksaray. This is a “smart” factory using advanced production technologies. Construction of the facility began 4 years ago. The construction cost amounted to 300 million dollars.
The Aksaray factory is capable of producing 4.2 million tires annually. The main feature of the factory is the use of “smart” technologies. Product assembly and data analysis are carried out using a cyber-platform. Therefore, the risk of negative human factor influence is eliminated. Particularly important is that the tires are not placed on the ground during the production process.
This is ensured by the automatic movement technology. Thus, the tires do not risk acquiring a production defect by coming into contact with the floor. A robotic platform monitors the condition of the tires. Human intervention occurs only when a problem is detected. Robotic production is a guarantee of high-quality tires.
Lassa Competus H/P2: a new product for 2019 in the Lassa lineup
The Competus H/P2 are summer-type tires primarily used for city roads. Nevertheless, the tires perform excellently on rural roads. The tires are highly responsive to steering, positively affecting handling. This feature is ensured by an optimally selected central rib, used in all Competus series tires. It should be noted that the H/P2 is the second product in the lineup.
Brisa is continuously working on improving its tires, so the H/P2 surpasses its predecessor by 12% in terms of maneuverability.
The Competus H/P2 is comfortable on uneven surfaces. The creators used a new formation of silica, which makes the tires softer. One of the main features of the tires is their high level of durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Even if Competus H/P2 is used in extreme off-road conditions, their technical characteristics decrease minimally, even after a long period of time.
When used on urban roads, the tires do not lose their positive qualities until the end of their operational life. The Competus H/P2 guarantees vehicle stability during sharp turns. This is ensured by optimized rubber blocks. Over time, the protective potential of the tires does not decrease thanks to the presence of special notches on the tread. Remarkably, despite all its advantages, the tires are relatively inexpensive.
The Lassa company ensured a good balance of price and quality. These tires are favored not only by owners of mid-range cars but also by high-end ones. As expected, the Competus H/P2 is gaining popularity in many countries of the world, including Ukraine. Local drivers are actively purchasing this model and other tires from the Turkish company:
Impetus Revo, Greenways, Driveways, the off-road model Competus A/T2, and the lightweight truck series – Transway and Transway 2.
Ascania Auto LLC is the official representative of the Lassa TM in Ukraine.
