Will the new Camry resemble the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in a sedan body

The new Camry may inherit the styling of the new Land Cruiser. Even before the new Land Cruiser 300 hit the market, drawings of a supposed passenger version of the SUV were circulating online. It is said that the next-generation Toyota Camry could be designed in a similar style. And even though this is a photoshop, even in Asia, people have started talking about the possibility of such a scenario.

As the publication Chejiahao.autohome writes, photos of the new generation Camry have recently become popular on the Internet. Although there is still no information about the possible appearance of the novelty, the sketches of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in a sedan body have attracted a lot of attention.

The highlight of the flight of fantasy is the front end – a reinterpretation of the last generation Land Cruiser, projected onto the Camry. Let’s look at the design of the front part – as paradoxical as it may seem, the face of the Cruiser actually suits the Camry quite well. Or does it not?

The imaginary car uses a “double waistline” style: the first waistline runs from the front to the rear door, and the second waistline runs from the rear door to the tail. Expressive “eyebrows” make the sedan massive and brutal.

At the rear – a raised “wing” reminiscent of Lexus. And although the rear lights seem “relocated” from the Land Cruiser, in reality, they are not exactly the same and look quite harmonious. As for the interior of the imaginary Camry in the spirit of the Land Cruiser, it looks more attractive than the cabin of the current generation Camry. But whether this will be the interior of the “live” next-generation Camry is a rhetorical question. After all, as we mentioned, this is just a flight of fantasy, which, however, has attracted attention even from the Japanese themselves, as evidenced by the lively discussions of the Land Cruiser 300 sedan under posts with these sketches.

As for power, the new Toyota Camry (or Camry – as you prefer), it will get a 2.5T turbocharged gasoline engine (so services from “Master Service” will be needed sooner or later) and a hybrid version. Transmissions – 9-speed automatic or continuously variable transmission.

And the most important question – would you like the new Toyota Camry to look like in these drawings?
