The Bugatti Chiron hypercar will soon not be the only model in the brand’s lineup. The company has announced an entirely new Bugatti Divo, which will be presented at the Concours d’Elegance retro show in California on August 24.
The Bugatti Divo coupe will be released as a limited series of 40 cars, and its price will be about 5 million euros, which is like two Bugatti Chiron. The car is named after the racer Albert Divo, who twice won the famous Targa Florio rally in a Bugatti.
There are few details about the new model, although it is known that it will use the Bugatti Chiron’s platform and its 1500-horsepower W16 engine with four turbines.
At the same time, the Bugatti Divo hypercar will be significantly lighter than its sibling, as it is positioned as a hardcore track model. It is known that the Divo will not share any body panels with the Chiron.
Advanced aerodynamics are also promised, which means the top speed will be less than that of the Chiron – 385 km/h. Additionally, the teasers reveal an interior trimmed with light Alcantara.
