by According to the Chinese company, the new BYD Tang is capable of traveling up to 700 km without recharging! By comparison, the top electric crossover Tesla Model X P100D can cover about 500 kilometers on a single charge.
It should be noted that in Europe the new Chinese electric SUV will be sold as the BYD Tang EV600D. The car has received an updated appearance, as well as a redesigned interior. It has grown slightly in size – up to 4.9 m in length. Regarding the range, the declared 700 km of autonomy is relevant for the front-wheel drive modification, with all-wheel drive – around 615 km.
The price and details of the electric crossover with a record range will be announced on November 19 at the Guangzhou Auto Show.
As for BYD itself, let’s recall, back in the old days, when the new car market in Ukraine was at a normal level (not like now, except for luxury brands), we even drove a BYD e6 electric car to Crimea (nobody really thought or heard about Teslas then), and also converted a crossover BYD S6 into a Lexus RX.
