Singer demonstrates that the most dangerous Porsche loses its ferocity

Singer has unveiled its most radically restored Porsche 911 model, named the Sorcerer. This car is the first project of the company’s new DLS Turbo division and differs drastically from the brand’s classic, understated restorations.

Key Car Specifications

Power and Technical Solutions

This Porsche 964 was completely rebuilt from the ground up. Its chassis was reinforced to handle the colossal power. Under the hood sits a fully reworked 3.8-liter engine with twin turbos, equipped with liquid-cooled cylinder heads.

In addition to over 700 horsepower, the engine produces 750 Nm of torque. The exhaust system is made from Inconel and titanium. Inside the cabin, a fully exposed gearshift mechanism is presented as a central design element.

To control the immense power, the car received an independent double-wishbone suspension, lightweight linkages, carbon-ceramic brakes, a front axle lift system, and magnesium alloy wheels measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 at the rear, shod in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

Extreme Body Design

The Sorcerer’s exterior looks absolutely wild. The lightweight carbon fiber body includes a completely new front end with a massive splitter and a uniquely shaped hood. The company added huge wheel arches and created a long rear overhang in the style of “long-tail” cars, where the exhaust tips exit from the sides of the rear diffuser. LED lighting and a tall rear wing complement the visual drama. The car is painted in a stunning Fantasia Blue, which gradually darkens towards the rear, creating an ombre effect.

Exclusive Interior

The car’s interior has been transformed into something closer to industrial art. The new seats are upholstered in Pebble Grey leather with Pearl Grey Alcantara inserts, contrast-stitched with Champagne thread. The instrument panel contains a set of special floating dials, and the reworked steering wheel continues the theme of exclusive handcrafted work.

Words from the Creator

With DLS Turbo, we wanted to celebrate the evolution of the 911 as an icon on the road and track and explore the possibilities opened up by turbocharging the wonderful engine developed under the DLS program, said Singer founder Rob Dickinson.

Every car is a collaboration with our clients worldwide, and the DLS Turbo services are our most ambitious to date. So, to see the Sorcerer ready for its owner to take the wheel is a very exciting moment for us and a fantastic way to start the year, he added.

The appearance of Singer’s Sorcerer demonstrates where the philosophy of restomodding can go when technical capabilities and client desire are limited by nothing but imagination. This is no longer just a restoration of a classic but the creation of a unique artifact at the intersection of high technology, art, and automotive passion. Such projects become a kind of laboratory, technologies from which often find their way into series production, paving the way for future generations of sports cars.
