Chrysler Announces Price for Updated 2027 Pacifica, and Buyers May Be Thrilled by the Price

After nearly a decade on the market, the Chrysler Pacifica has received its second significant update. This is not a completely new model, but a facelift. The company has not yet revealed exactly which engine will be under the hood, but has already opened pre-orders for the minivan.

Updated Exterior Design

The exterior of the 2027 Pacifica has been completely redesigned at the front. The minivan has received more modern LED headlights and daytime running lights, integrated into sharp elements that run down the bumper. An LED light bar has also appeared, stretching across the entire width of the front end. Its design differs from the simpler solutions found on other cars.

Chrysler has not published any photos of the rear of the Pacifica. Judging by recent spy shots, the rear taillights will likely remain from the previous model, which is somewhat unusual for a facelift of this scale. The only rear change mentioned by the manufacturer is an updated rear appliqué with a new winged badge.

Trims and Pricing Policy

The 2027 Pacifica model range includes LX, Select, Limited, and Pinnacle trims with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Prices start from $41,495 (excluding destination charges).

Prices for the new model show mixed dynamics. For example, the base LX version costs $100 more than the previous Voyager. The Limited FWD trim has become $1,025 cheaper, and the Pinnacle FWD — $1,680 cheaper. The cost of all-wheel-drive versions has also decreased for higher trims.

Safety and Interior

One of the key safety novelties for the 2027 model is the Enhanced Safety Sphere package. It includes a turn-signal-activated Blind Spot View function, ParkSense-based camera activation, a 360-degree surround-view system, and Front Park Assist with Stop.

Detailed interior photos are not yet available, but moderate changes are expected. The manufacturer mentions a new badge on the steering wheel, a height-adjustable power liftgate, as well as an exclusive Blue Agave interior color for the top Pinnacle version, paired with Copper Alloy accents. A new seat pattern with Tungsten Patina trim, heated seats and steering wheel are also promised.

Technical Details and Availability

The 2027 Chrysler Pacifica is expected to retain the familiar 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 gasoline engine. Deliveries to dealers are scheduled to begin in the summer.

The Pacifica update, despite the lack of revolutionary changes, focuses on improving design, expanding standard equipment, and adjusting pricing policy. The price reduction for higher trims may be an attempt to maintain the minivan’s competitiveness in a market where SUVs and crossovers are gaining popularity. The success of this strategy will depend on how much buyers appreciate the updated exterior appearance and additional safety features compared to alternatives from other manufacturers.
