Chrysler introduces a special Pacifica version for the brand’s 100th anniversary
Chrysler has released a limited series of the Pacifica minivan dedicated to the brand’s centenary. However, contrary to expectations, this version turned out to be quite minimalist. Instead of unique design elements, the manufacturer limited itself to a decal on the rear of the vehicle and a few minor changes in the trim.
The special version is based on the Pacifica Select trim and is offered in both a standard gasoline variant and a hybrid modification. The price starts at $44,390 for the standard version and $52,565 for the hybrid.
What’s included in the trim
This can hardly be called an impressive tribute to the brand’s centenary
Standard equipment also includes power sliding doors and liftgate, Uconnect multimedia system with a 10.1-inch screen, heated steering wheel and front seats. Safety features include blind-spot monitoring and lane departure warning systems.
The vehicle will be available in three colors: Red Hot, Bright White, and Hydro Blue. Orders will begin to be accepted at the end of the month, but prices for the Canadian market have not yet been announced.
The special version looks more like a marketing move than a true celebration of the anniversary. The lack of unique design details and minimal changes in the trim may disappoint brand enthusiasts who expected something more impressive for such a significant date.
