by The towing of a broken Ford Fusion ended sadly. The hybrid sedan was left without front tires and received serious body damage. 
It turned out that when the hybrid Ford Fusion began to be towed on a rigid hitch, they forgot to select neutral gear in the CVT – they left the lever in the Park position. As a result, the front tires came off, the wheel rims were broken, and the bumper and engine cradle were damaged. 
In addition, the brakes and the front suspension arms were severely damaged.
It is also unclear what happened to the transmission in the process. In general, the owner lost money. 
It is unclear why the problem was not noticed during towing. Well, the Ford Fusion may soon appear in Ukraine as an undamaged used car from the USA.
