What do a VW Passat sedan and an Invicta S1 supercar have in common

We continue to study the topic of car optics. You already know that the Ascari KZ1 supercar borrowed headlights from the Peugeot 206, and the Mazda 323F and Aston Martin DB7 have identical lights.

Now we have turned our attention to the very rare British coupe Invicta S1. It was produced in small series between 2004 and 2012 and was equipped with V8 engines from the Ford Mustang with up to 600 hp.

The lights of the Invicta S1 are undoubtedly painfully familiar.

Indeed, it is the same optics as the Volkswagen Passat B5. For reference, the Invicta cost from 150 to 240 thousand dollars, which is equivalent to 7-8 Passats.
