New Masterpiece from Totem Automobili
Before you is Farina — the latest version of the GT Super from Totem Automobili, based on Alfa Romeo. This small Italian company will release only 40 examples of this model. If Singer is considered the leader in Porsche 911 restomods, then Totem possibly holds a similar position regarding Alfa Romeo cars.
Car Features
Exclusive Design and Interior
The customer of this GT Super wanted his car to look unique. For this purpose, the metallic brown color Luci del Bosco was chosen, inspired by shades characteristic of Italian sports cars from the 1970s. The color perfectly combines with golden wheels and matte nickel details. Additionally, an extended package of carbon fiber elements with a satin texture is installed, combining retro style with modern design solutions.
They produced only 40 examples, and this Alfa GT Super might be the most beautiful among them.
The car’s interior is no less impressive than the exterior. Besides leather and Alcantara, precision-machined aluminum and stainless-steel parts are used here. The brightest element of the interior is the mechanical gearbox with a gated shifter and a wooden gear lever.
Power and Technical Specifications
Instead of using the old Alfa Romeo engine, Totem collaborated with the Italian manufacturer Italtechnica to create a new 2.8-liter bi-turbo V6. The engine is equipped with six individual throttle bodies, as well as direct and port fuel injection systems. In the standard version, it produces 591 hp and 700 Nm of torque, but an increase in power to 739 hp and 850 Nm is possible. These are impressive figures for such a compact car.
Cost and Value
The price for the GT Super starts from €539,000, which is approximately $625,000. Despite the high cost, for those seeking an unparalleled Italian driving experience and a car that is simultaneously a work of art, this model might justify every cent invested.
The automotive industry is increasingly turning to restomods that combine classic aesthetics with modern technologies. Totem Automobili demonstrates that even a limited series can become a symbol of engineering mastery and an artistic approach. Such projects not only preserve the heritage of car manufacturers but also open new horizons for collectors and enthusiasts.
