Possible Appearance of a Cyber-inspired SUV from Tesla
Tesla may have hinted at the development of a new SUV inspired by the Cybertruck’s design. In the “Master Plan IV” video, the company showed scale models that look like three-row SUVs with Cybertruck-style elements. This could indicate plans to create a family electric vehicle with a powerful design and advanced technology.
Rare Information Leak from Tesla
Elon Musk’s company is usually very cautious about disclosing details of future models. Therefore, the appearance of such footage in an official video is surprising. For example, the Cybertruck and the second-generation Roadster never “leaked” before their official presentation.
The CyberSUV Idea and Its Potential
Rumors about a Cybertruck-style SUV emerged back in 2019. The concept involves creating a family SUV made of stainless steel, preserving key features of the pickup, such as the 48-volt system, steer-by-wire, and adaptive suspension. Such a model could fill a gap in Tesla’s lineup, offering a full-size SUV to compete with the Cadillac Escalade IQ, Rivian R1S, and Kia EV9.
Possible Obstacles and Prospects
However, there are doubts regarding the implementation of this model. In the Q4 2024 shareholder report, Tesla noted that future vehicles would not use a stainless steel exoskeleton like the Cybertruck. But if the company can adapt most of the Cybertruck’s chassis components, it would help use production capacity more efficiently.

The popularity of SUVs continues to grow, and Tesla, having only the Cybertruck in its arsenal, could take advantage of this trend. If the CyberSUV becomes a reality, it could not only expand the model range but also set a new design code for the brand’s future developments. For now, we must wait for official statements from the manufacturer.
