Is This Porsche 911 Worth Almost $3 Million?

Rare Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 Listed for Sale

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0, released in 2011, is considered one of the best versions of the 997.2 model. It is equipped with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine and a manual transmission, making it particularly valuable to collectors. However, is it worth $2.69 million? Hardly.

Earlier this year, one such car with over 6,000 miles on the odometer was sold for $554,000. The current example, with only 341 miles and a custom GT Silver paint job, is listed for a record price.

Offer Details

The car is located in Zionsville, Indiana, and is number 318 out of 600 produced examples. The interior is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara with red accents. The original price of this Porsche was $216,210, but the seller is now asking for nearly $2.7 million.

Despite the high price, this car remains one of the rarest and most desirable among collectors. Even if it doesn’t reach the asking amount, its value has significantly increased over the past 14 years, making it a profitable investment asset.
