This BMW Demonstrates Which Colors Should Never Be Combined

Non-Standard Design of the BMW 7-Series

Some colors combine perfectly, others raise questions. Purple and yellow, separately, can look good, but together they create a bright, yet questionable effect. In the USA, one car dealership decided to experiment by wrapping a BMW 7-Series in these two colors.

The current generation of the BMW 7-Series already doesn’t impress everyone with its design — massive radiator grilles, unusual headlights, and overall proportions don’t look very successful. But the purple-yellow wrap further amplifies this strangeness.

The lower part of the body is wrapped in bright yellow film, and the top part is purple. This design is more suitable for sports cars than for a luxury sedan.

The purple color itself doesn’t look bad — it has a metallic shade that could look good on the entire car. However, the combination with bright yellow makes the effect too aggressive.

Besides the wrap, the car received new wheels with thin spokes and yellow brake calipers. The interior remained unchanged — which is good, as the 7-Series interior is considered one of the best in its class.

This color experiment reminds us that tastes can be different. Although such styling is unlikely to become a trend, it certainly attracts attention. Perhaps next time designers will choose more classic solutions for premium models.
