This legendary 1959 BMW 507 Series II has already reached the million-dollar mark at auction. Originally painted white, the car was repainted in a vibrant coral shade during a 2012 restoration. The removable hardtop also received a light tone, and the wheels now perfectly match the main body color.
Interior and technical features
The car’s interior is upholstered in beige leather, covering the seats and parts of the dashboard. The steering wheel and gear lever feature a light shade, and a Becker Mexico radio is installed. The interior lacks modern complex systems, allowing the driver to enjoy pure driving pleasure.
BMW hoped to sell thousands of 507 models in the U.S., but due to the high price, production ceased after just three years.
