This Camaro Was Sold Twice for $30,000 Above Its Price, But No One Uses It

The era of the Chevrolet Camaro has come to an end, which might be unpleasant news for fans of the model, but great for those who own one of the last units. Earlier this week, a slightly used 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition was sold for $119,000, which is almost $30,000 above its original price.

The Collector’s Edition Camaro was introduced in late 2023 as a farewell version of the legendary muscle car. This option package was offered for the LT/RS, LT1, SS, and ZL1 models, with a total production run limited to 350 cars. Such limited series often become collectibles, and this model seems to be no exception.

Last August, this same car was already sold for $119,000, even though its original price was $90,390. Over eight months, the mileage increased by only 19 miles (30 km), and the odometer now shows 172 miles (277 km). The car has a clean history from Delaware and is in excellent condition.

One of the main features of this version is the unique matte Panther Black paint, which perfectly complements the black stripe and carbon fiber details. The wheels are 20 inches in diameter, and the suspension is equipped with Multimatic DSSV dampers. The car also received a splitter and a spoiler like the 1LE version.

The interior features minor changes: a special Panther badge is placed on the steering wheel, indicating that this is the 339th unit out of 350. New floor mats, a leather steering wheel, and carbon fiber inserts on the dashboard have also been added.

Earlier this year, reports emerged about the cancellation of plans to bring the Camaro back in the future. Although General Motors denies these rumors, there have been no official statements about the model’s revival yet. This means that units like this one may continue to appreciate in value.
