This Wild Mustang Combines Dark Horse and GTD Features, and Its Cost is Twice as High as Expected

Powerful Mustang from Clive Sutton

British company Clive Sutton, known for its tuned cars, has introduced a new version of the Ford Mustang. The CS800DH is a radically reworked version of the seventh-generation Mustang, which received not only a more powerful engine but also a number of aerodynamic improvements.

Technical Details and Design

The Dark Horse model was taken as a base, but the 5.0-liter V8 is now complemented by a Whipple supercharger. This increased the power from the standard 447 hp to an impressive 788 hp. A Borla exhaust system, lowered suspension, and custom Vossen wheels have also been installed.

“A carbon hood with two large air intakes, ventilation holes on the front fenders like the GTD, and a massive spoiler – all this makes the CS800DH stand out among other Mustangs”

The interior has also been updated: the upholstery of the seats, dashboard, and doors is made of blue Alcantara, adding an element of luxury.

Cost and Competition

With a price ranging from £135,000 to £165,000, this Mustang enters the market where it competes with McLaren or Porsche 911 GT3. Although it offers a unique design and enormous power, the question of its competitiveness remains open.

The debut of the CS800DH is scheduled for August, and it is already clear that this is not just a tuned Mustang, but a true supercar. However, whether it justifies its price compared to other cars in this segment is something that car enthusiasts will discuss.
