Phantom Centenary Celebration
Rolls-Royce has introduced the exclusive Phantom Centenary Private Collection series, dedicated to the centenary of this legendary sedan. The release is limited to only 25 units, making it the most complex and technologically advanced collection in the brand’s history. The development of this model took over 40,000 hours of work, emphasizing its status as a symbol of ambition, artistic capabilities, and historical significance.
Exterior: Luxury in Every Detail
The car’s exterior features a two-tone Arctic White and Black color scheme, inspired by Hollywood’s golden era. The paint contains iridescent particles of crushed glass, giving it a unique metallic shine. One of the most impressive details is the golden Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, made from solid 18-carat gold and additionally coated with 24-carat gold for perfect protection against oxidation. The figurine is mounted on a base of hand-cast white enamel with the inscription “Phantom Centenary”.
“This car confirms Phantom’s status as a symbol of ambition, artistic capabilities, and historical significance.”
Additional elements include four Rolls-Royce logos made of 24-carat gold and white enamel, as well as exclusive wheels with 25 engraved lines, symbolizing each of the 25 released cars.
Interior: Art on Wheels
The car’s interior resembles an art gallery. The rear seats have been transformed into a canvas that tells the story of Phantom through three layers: a background with images of places and artifacts from the brand’s history, detailed images of past Phantom models, and embroidery symbolizing seven iconic owners of different generations of this model.
“The first layer is the background, the second is images of great Phantoms of the past, and the third is embroidery that abstractly represents the owners.”
Creating this artwork took over a year and required more than 160,000 stitches. The rear seats are made of fabric, which is a reference to past times when only front seats were upholstered in leather for drivers. The front seats are decorated with laser engraving that includes sketches and references to the codename “Seagull” for the 1923 Phantom I, as well as a rabbit design indicating the codeword “Roger Rabbit” for the brand’s revival in 2003.
Exclusive Details and Technologies
The interior also features an Anthology Gallery with aluminum ribs manufactured using 3D printing technology, containing letters that are readable from both sides. The doors are decorated with panels of painted ebony that combine laser engraving, 3D marquetry, ink layering, and gilding with gold leaf. These panels are accompanied by embroidered leather inserts, special picnic tables with engravings of the 1925 Phantom I and Phantom VIII, as well as a rotating selector made of 24-carat gold.

Legacy and Impression
This car resembles a mobile art museum more than a conventional vehicle. It demonstrates Rolls-Royce’s incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail, making it a unique contribution to the world of automobile manufacturing. The limited series not only honors the past but also sets new standards for future innovations in the luxury sector. Such projects emphasize that a car can be not only a means of transportation but also a carrier of cultural heritage that unites technology, art, and history in a single refined execution.
