This Electric Worker from the Outside Resembles an Ordinary Family SUV, but the Interior Will Surprise You

Skoda Introduces Commercial Version of Enyaq for the UK Market

Skoda has expanded its electric lineup by introducing a commercial version of the Enyaq model called the Enyaq Cargo. This variant transforms the conventional SUV into a light commercial vehicle (LCV) with two seats in the front and a separate cargo compartment in the rear. The model is designed specifically for the UK market and will soon appear in commercial fleets.

The project was implemented in collaboration with the British company Strong Plastic Products Ltd. It fully complies with local LCV standards and is based on the Enyaq 85 or SportLine 85x versions, which develop up to 282 hp.

Design Features

The main changes concern the interior: the rear row of seats has been removed, and the cargo space is made of durable, lightweight plastic. The cabin is separated from the cargo compartment by a partition with a small window. On the outside, the Enyaq Cargo is almost indistinguishable from the standard version, but the rear windows are tinted and lack power operation.

Technical Specifications

The model is offered with a single-motor (Enyaq 85) or all-wheel drive (SportLine 85x) version. Both configurations are equipped with a 77 kWh battery. The range is up to 359 miles (578 km) for the rear-wheel-drive version and 332 miles (534 km) for the all-wheel-drive version. Fast charging allows for quick replenishment of energy.

The first 70 units of the Enyaq Cargo have already been ordered by National Grid Energy Distribution to update its fleet. The model is available exclusively to corporate clients with a starting price from £44,310.

This move demonstrates how manufacturers are adapting electric models to business needs. The long range and functional design make the Enyaq Cargo an attractive option for companies seeking to reduce their carbon footprint without losing practicality.
