GMA has announced that production of the T.50 supercar will cease in July. This will mark the end of the limited series of 100 units, the first of which was introduced back in 2020. The final car from this line will be assembled this summer.
The company emphasized that the T.50 is
“the purest embodiment of driving perfection”
. It was purchased by customers from 19 countries worldwide. The car is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.9-liter V12 engine producing 661 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The model’s weight is only 997 kg, making it a true technological marvel.
Unique Technologies and Future Premieres
One of the most interesting features of the T.50 is its rear-mounted fan, which is reminiscent of design elements from Batman movies. It reduces aerodynamic drag by 12.5% and adds approximately 50 hp to the total power.
Although T.50 production is ending, the Gordon Murray Group is preparing two new premieres, which will debut on August 15th at The Quail – A Motorsport Gathering event. Details have not been disclosed yet, but it is known that one of the models is a bespoke commission, and the other is developed by the Gordon Murray Special Vehicles team.
Ahead of these events, the company plans to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Gordon Murray’s creative career. The exhibits will include the first car he designed in 1965, as well as other iconic models, including the McLaren MP4/4 and the LCC Rocket.
The end of T.50 production is not just the end of a model, but a symbol of the transition to new technological solutions. Lightness, power, and unique design remain the company’s core principles, promising even more innovation in future projects.
