BRABUS 1000: The Overpowered Mercedes-AMG GT with Limited Torque
Although the standard Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance is already a powerful car, BRABUS decided to raise the bar even higher. Their new model, the BRABUS 1000, received not only significant design changes but also serious technical upgrades.
Torque That Could Destroy the Transmission
As the name implies, the BRABUS 1000 develops 1000 hp (986 hp), but even more impressive is its torque — 1820 Nm. Due to such engine force, engineers were forced to limit it to 1620 Nm to avoid destroying the transmission.
The 4.0-liter V8 engine was enlarged to 4.5 liters, received a new aluminum crankshaft, forged connecting rods, and a custom exhaust system.
Speed That Impresses
The BRABUS 1000 accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds, to 200 km/h in 9.5 seconds, and its top speed is electronically limited to 320 km/h. This is achieved thanks to a hybrid system where the 4.5-liter V8 produces 785 hp, and the electric motor adds another 201 hp.
Not Just Power, But Also Style
In addition to technical improvements, BRABUS made changes to the aerodynamics: new splitters, diffusers, and a carbon wing. 21- and 22-inch wheel rims complement the aggressive look. The interior received black leather, carbon fiber elements, and bright red details.
The cost of such a car is about $515,000. This is not just a tuned Mercedes-AMG, but a true masterpiece for those seeking exclusivity and incredible dynamics. Even for the most demanding car enthusiasts, the BRABUS 1000 will be a real find, as its characteristics exceed expectations even for the most powerful production models.
