This Porsche Believes Asphalt Is for Those Who Chose the Wrong SUV

A Powerful Off-Roader Based on the Porsche Cayenne

Most Porsche Cayenne owners probably never leave perfect asphalt, but for those who do, EuroWise offers its services. This is the Cayenne Ultra EVO – a model that comes as close as possible to the version prepared for the Dakar rally.

The EuroWise Cayenne Ultra program transforms the Porsche into a true off-roader, leaving no detail unattended. The upgrade starts with the engine: the V8 received new turbos, a front-mount intercooler, a sport exhaust system, as well as a retune of the engine and transmission electronic control units. The result is an impressive 650 horsepower and 1017 Nm of torque. However, the most interesting part of this build is not just the powertrain.

Extreme Design and Construction

The company developed a special wide carbon fiber body kit that increases the car’s width by eight inches. The kit includes extended wheel arches that give the car a rally look and allow for the installation of new off-road wheels and tires. The rear arches are executed in a particularly interesting way – they are located above the door handles, so to open the doors you need to reach your hand inside the arch.

The new arches are complemented by updated front and rear bumpers with painted protective bars. New LED driving lights are installed on the front grille, along with a skid plate, and a roof rack with additional off-road lights is on the roof. Mounts for a spare tire are placed on the rear doors, and a dual-tip exhaust is routed out the sides of the bumper.

Suspension and Interior

According to EuroWise, the Ultra EVO is equipped with a new long-travel suspension and new shock absorbers, providing a comfortable ride both over rocks and sandy dunes. There is no exact data on the increase in ground clearance compared to the standard model, but visually it is at least six inches higher.

The company also offers a range of interior updates, including new ambient lighting, onboard Wi-Fi, off-road recovery systems, and new upholstery.

Such projects demonstrate how flexible the platform of a conventional urban SUV can be with the right approach. Transforming a Porsche Cayenne into a vehicle capable of competing in the toughest rallies indicates the significant technical potential of the base model and the creativity of tuning ateliers. It also reflects the growing demand for unique, extremely prepared vehicles that combine premium comfort with the capabilities of a true off-road explorer.
