New retro style for the iCar V23 electric vehicle

Chinese automaker iCar has introduced a special retro kit for its V23 electric vehicle. This SUV, which resembles a mix of the Land Rover Defender and Suzuki Jimny, now looks even more original thanks to a matte green wrap, black wheels, and additional design elements. Among them are a grille in the style of old off-roaders, black bumpers, and a spotlight on the hood.

The “Retro Emotion Package” adds military charm to the car. The manufacturer claims that the wrap has an anti-glare coating that meets the standards of military equipment camouflage. Additionally, the grille can be easily removed or replaced. Interestingly, this upgrade costs between $550 and $1,450, making it affordable for buyers.

Technical features

The base V23 comes with a 136 hp engine, while the top versions get a dual powertrain with 211 hp. These are not record-breaking figures, but they are quite sufficient for a compact electric vehicle. Prices for the car start at $15,000, making it one of the most affordable electric SUVs on the market.

Despite its aggressive design, the V23 remains an urban vehicle. Although it is equipped with off-road tires and additional body protection, its real off-road capabilities remain questionable. However, if you’re looking for an original electric vehicle with retro character, this model is worth considering.
