This Insane BMW Comes Closer to the Bugatti Veyron Than You’d Expect

BMW M4 with 922 HP by Manhart

Previously, 900 horsepower was only available in supercars costing millions, but thanks to Manhart, it’s now packed into a BMW M4. The standard M4 already impresses with its dynamics, but the tuners decided to go even further.

The company conducted a deep upgrade of the 3.0-liter S58 engine, installing larger turbos, an intercooler, forged pistons, and connecting rods. The 8-speed transmission was also updated to handle the power increase. The result is 922 HP and 878 Nm of torque, just slightly behind the Bugatti Veyron.

Aggressive Design and Additional Improvements

Beyond technical changes, Manhart added a series of visual and aerodynamic enhancements. The car received:

  • Carbon fiber splitter and rear wing
  • A new exhaust system with adjustable valves
  • H&R sport suspension for reduced ride height
  • 20-21-inch alloy wheels

The interior wasn’t overlooked either—carbon fiber trims and more aggressive seats from the M4 CSL were installed. While exact acceleration figures aren’t provided, it’s safe to assume the modified M4 sprints from 0-100 km/h in under 3 seconds.

This project shows just how far tuning can go, even for high-tech cars like the BMW M4. Considering that factory versions already have impressive specs, projects like the MH4 900 demonstrate the potential for those seeking extreme performance without losing road car status.
