Before you is the newest restomod from the Italian brand Totem Automobili, created on the basis of an Alfa Romeo. Its main difference from other models of this workshop lies in the powertrain. Instead of a 2.8-liter bi-turbo V6 engine with up to 739 hp, this car is equipped with a fully electric powertrain.

The manufacturer calls this model the GT Electric ‘Zeal 01’. It was developed specifically for a client from California. The car’s exterior looks just as impressive as the gasoline-powered GT Super models also built by this small firm. If Alfa Romeo itself decided to create a new model inspired by its past, it should pay attention to this car.
The exterior is painted in a special shade called Accurro Pervinca and features a large number of matte gold accents. These elements are present on the headlight bezels, the triangular Scudetto radiator grille, rearview mirrors, door frames, and even on the metal wipers. The car also received excellent wheels that match the overall style.
Interior masterpiece
The interior of this car looks, perhaps, even better than its exterior. Totem developed special instruments for it with matte gold bezels, as well as a three-spoke steering wheel upholstered in blue leather, with individual switches on the steering column. The column itself, as well as parts of the dashboard and door panels, are made of carbon fiber with a very characteristic weave.
The rest of the interior combines blue and cream Nappa leather, which covers the seats, dashboard, transmission tunnel, and doors. The manufacturer also added special fabric to the center of the Sabelt seats with a carbon backrest and even created a leather headliner.
Electric powertrain and specifications
Although one might slightly regret that the owner of this car will not be able to enjoy the specially developed bi-turbo V6 engine that Totem also offers, the electric powertrain is not lacking in power either. It is equipped with a 590 hp motor on the rear axle, allowing the car to accelerate to 60 miles per hour (96 km/h) in 2.9 seconds. The stated range on a single charge is up to 300 miles (482 km). Brembo brakes and an electronically controlled suspension should provide the handling one expects from such a car.
