This Porsche 911 Not Only Retained Its Value But Also Brought Profit to Its Owner in Two Years

Luxurious Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Sold Above Original Price

Usually, only limited series or racing versions of the Porsche 911 retain or increase their value over time. However, a recent deal to sell a regular (if one can say that about a 911) Carrera GTS model for a price above the original proves that the demand for such cars remains high.

This particular example differs from standard GTS not only by its $11,430 body color but also by additional options such as the $2,030 Aerokit and $1,290 sport sills. The fixed rear spoiler and Turbo S wheels give it a resemblance to the GT3, although technically it is a regular GTS.

Interior Details and Auction

The car’s interior is decorated with carbon fiber trim, adaptive sports seats, and a Burmester audio system for nearly $4,000. Despite its age and mileage of 7 thousand miles, this Porsche found a new owner for $212,000 – above the initial price. Interestingly, a year ago the same model was offered for $229,000, but no buyer was found at that time.

For comparison, a new 911 GT3 starts from $222,500, but on the secondary market, prices for such cars often exceed $250,000. Under such conditions, a well-equipped GTS can be an interesting alternative for those not ready for the expenses of a GT3. The demand for unique examples, even among “regular” models, remains stable, as confirmed by this deal.
