Yes, you read that right. It’s a 1998 Toyota Celica, although the description contains almost no information about the engine. It is only known that the car has a manual transmission and just 37,500 km on the odometer, which is certainly nice, but the real star here is the body.
Despite its dubious origins, the body looks quite neat. Hidden headlights frame a massive radiator grille reminiscent of the new Toyota Supra’s front-end design.
The rear is adorned with taillights and what appear to be exhaust tips integrated into the center section of the bumper. It’s hard to tell if they are functional, but the execution looks quality. Air intakes and ventilation holes are scattered all over the body, which could be either functional or decorative.
The interior is no less extravagant. A steering wheel-yoke, yes, you read that right, features a quick-release mechanism, and the upholstery combines dark red and black colors. Due to the low-quality photos, it’s hard to be sure, but all four seats appear to be Recaro products.
Interested parties can purchase this specimen for $11,872 at the current exchange rate of the Moroccan dirham. Yes, here’s the main caveat – the car is being sold in Morocco, which somewhat explains its extravagance.
