Dodge unveils a look at customized Charger Daytona

The LX Spring Festival returns after a five-year hiatus and will celebrate Stellantis performances.

Dodge will use the event to showcase customized versions of the new Charger Daytona.

One of them will feature matte black stripes with red accents and Fratzog logos.

The Spring Festival LX returns after a five-year break and this time it comes with an entirely new identity — now it will be the home for everything related to performances. This means that Charger, Challenger, Magnum, and 300s will join Durango, Grand Cherokee, and Ram 1500 TRX.

While it is worth noting that the Spring Festival celebration will take place (March 21-22, 2025), we are more interested in Dodge’s participation because they will use the event to present customized versions of the new. One of them will be a black liftback with matte black stripes and red borders.

The stripes have the Fratzog logo and are said to be compatible with both glass and steel roof cars. On models with the former, passengers can look up and see the Fratzog pattern through the glass.

It seems they are moving towards production, and Dodge noted that “stripes have long been a popular customization option for … muscle car enthusiasts who want to give their car a distinctive look.” In fact, for the Challenger, Mopar offers three different stripe kits.

While LX fans may be upset by the lack of a V8, Dodge CEO Matt McAlear said: “California was one of the largest states for Charger sales and is the largest market for electric vehicles in the United States with more than 376,000 electric vehicle registrations just last year — that’s three times more electric vehicle registrations than the next highest registration state, so there’s a great opportunity to reach new customers and Charger fans.”

He added: “The Spring Festival is one of many customer events that provide us with a great opportunity to meet with our owners in person, give them the opportunity to learn about our new products, showcase potential new customization options, and get their immediate feedback.”

Speaking of which, decision-makers will be present at roundtables and customer clinics to gather feedback. Participants can also vote on potential future colors on the Charger, with the best choice being purple or Sassy Grass.
