Rain Turned New Kyiv Road into a Lake (video)

The roads in Kyiv in the area of the ‘Livoberezhna’ metro station are in good condition, as they were repaired last year before the hosting of ‘Eurovision’. However, as it turned out, there are problems with the drainage systems there.

After a short, yet heavy rain, a section of the road on Sheptytskoho St. under the bridge was severely flooded. Judging by the video from dtp.kiev.ua, the depth of such a ‘lake’ is at least half a meter. Both cars and pedestrians were affected by the flood.

By the way, water has been accumulating in this area more than once, but today its level turned out to be especially high. Naturally, there were traffic jams in Livoberezhna.
