Kamaz trucks have won the famous Dakar rally 15 times. Of course, special vehicles were prepared for the grueling marathon, and they can even drift.
That’s exactly what three-time Dakar winner Eduard Nikolaev did. He decided to compete in drifting against a tuned Mazda RX-8 with his 9-ton Kamaz. The racing Kamaz 4326-9 is equipped with a 16.2-liter turbo diesel V8 Liebherr with 920 hp.
However, the Mazda also has nearly 1000 hp, and the car is driven by multiple Formula Drift champion Mike Whiddett. Overall, it was fun, you have to see it.
