The final chord for the Toyota GR Supra
Update: Toyota has released details and photos of the two final versions of the GR Supra for the European market—the A90 Final Edition and the Lightweight Evo. The story has been updated with the latest information.
Toyota is preparing to bid farewell to the current generation of the GR Supra, but before that, it is releasing two special versions. The limited run of 300 units for Europe and Japan features a more powerful engine, refined suspension, improved brakes, and even more carbon. The Lightweight Evo, in turn, received aerodynamic and chassis updates.
Power and dynamics
The A90 Final Edition is equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine that now delivers 429 hp and 570 Nm of torque. This was made possible thanks to an updated intake system, a low-resistance catalyst, and recalibrated electronics. Additionally, an active differential, an improved cooling system, and a titanium exhaust from Akrapovic have been installed.
Chassis and handling
The suspension received adjustable KW dampers, reinforced stabilizers, and increased wheel camber. The Brembo braking system with high-performance pads and perforated discs ensures reliable braking. The car also features a carbon spoiler, a new splitter, and other aerodynamic elements.
Lightweight Evo: Light and fast
This version received a carbon spoiler, updated ventilation openings, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The interior features Alcantara, red stitching, and carbon inserts. The suspension was reinforced, and the steering was recalibrated for improved feel.
The price of the A90 Final Edition in Europe is €142,800, while in Japan, the model costs ¥15,000,000. Despite the end of production, Toyota is already working on the next generation of the GR Supra, so fans of the brand should stay tuned for updates.
The American market will receive its own version of the Final Edition, but without a power increase—only with updated chassis and aerodynamics. Orders for European and Japanese models are already open, although the lottery for the A90 Final Edition has ended.
