Ford Maverick in a New Execution
The Ford Maverick is a compact pickup that, while practical, doesn’t particularly excite car enthusiasts. However, the situation could change if the company introduced more sporty or premium versions of the model. Designers have already begun experimenting with this.
A Sporty Approach
The first concept is a two-door Maverick with a shortened wheelbase and a design reminiscent of the F-150 SVT Lightning. The red color, aggressive front bumper, widened wheel arches, and sporty rims make it look like a track-ready car rather than just an everyday vehicle.
If Ford released such a version, it wouldn’t hurt to have a more powerful engine with over 300 hp.
A Premium Variant
The second concept focuses on comfort and style. It features a two-tone paint job, chrome accents, and off-road tires, reminiscent of the Eddie Bauer and King Ranch versions. Side steps have also been added for easier cargo loading.
For now, the closest to such experiments is the production Tremor, which is already equipped for off-roading. But if Ford ever decides to release a two-door Maverick, it could be a real sensation. Whether to expect an electric “Lightning” version remains an open question.
The renders were created by Abimelec Design and demonstrate just how diverse interpretations of the same car can be. It’s worth noting that these are just concepts for now, but they showcase the Maverick’s potential in various niches—from sporty to premium models.
