Jeep Dealers Desperately Slash Prices on Wagoneer S Models to Attract Buyers

Some dealers are offering the Jeep Wagoneer S electric SUV with a discount of nearly $25,000 off the recommended price.

The base cost of this model is $66,995; it is equipped with a 500 hp engine and a range of 294 miles.

Considering all promotions and incentives, dealers are advertising the Limited trim for approximately $43 thousand.

The Jeep electric vehicle market is showing signs of a serious downturn – numerous dealers are already offering new 2025 Wagoneer S models with colossal discounts.

Although the official starting price of the SUV is $66,995 plus destination, dealers are resorting to radical price cuts. For example, the Jimmy Britt dealership has listed one of the models for $43,104 with an initial price of $67,590.

The total savings for the buyer can reach $24,486 – an impressive amount, especially considering that the base Jeep Compass starts at $26,900. However, it is worth noting that the final price includes all possible bonuses: a dealer discount of $7,665, a federal tax credit of $7,500, and an additional $5,821 from the Stellantis employee pricing program.

In Florida, the Taverna dealership is offering a similar deal – a model priced at $67,590 is available for $43,138, and this price could be even lower.

In Oklahoma, the Chris Nikel dealership is advertising a Wagoneer S for $43,425, which is $24,165 cheaper than the recommended price. This difference would be enough to buy a new Jeep Renegade.

This situation is explained by low sales – only 2,595 units of the Wagoneer S were sold in the first quarter. At this rate, the annual volume could be only 10,380 cars.

These figures are only slightly behind the results of the Ford Mustang Mach-E, whose sales fell by 40.2%. A similar trend indicates serious problems for both manufacturers in the electric vehicle market.
