Exclusive BMW 5-Series Version with Six-Cylinder Engine Available Only for Canadian Buyers

BMW Introduces Limited Series 5-Series Legacy Edition for Canada

BMW has released a special version of the 540i xDrive called the Legacy Edition, which will be available only on the Canadian market. Production is limited to 151 units, so interested buyers should hurry. Although it is not a high-performance M version, the model offers a powerful engine and exclusive options.

The most interesting part of the novelty is its powertrain. This is the first six-cylinder version of the current 5-Series in Canada without a hybrid system. The 3.0-liter B58 engine produces 375 hp and 540 Nm of torque, supplemented by a 48-volt mild hybrid system. Together with the eight-speed automatic transmission, the car accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.

Individual Options and Equipment

Buyers can order the Legacy Edition in unique Individual Manufaktur colors at no additional cost. Among the available options are Oxford Green Metallic, Cinnabar Red, Sepang Bronze Metallic, and others. All cars will receive 21-inch Individual wheels, an M Sport Pro package, and a choice of red or blue brake calipers. Standard equipment includes an 18-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system and ventilated front seats.

The price for the limited series has not yet been announced, but it is expected to exceed 100,000 Canadian dollars. Orders are already open, and deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter of this year.

The Legacy Edition will become a real find for brand enthusiasts looking for a balance between power, comfort, and exclusivity. The limited production run makes this model particularly attractive to collectors. At the same time, the absence of a hybrid system may raise questions for those who are environmentally oriented.
