Unique Porsche Cayman GT4 RS in Tulip Style
Porsche Netherlands has created a special version of the Cayman GT4 RS in a bright orange color. This model is equipped with the optional Weissach package and an aggressive Manthey kit. Although the car is unique, Dutch Porsche enthusiasts can purchase a thermos mug with the same design.
Collaboration and Design
This unique specimen is the result of a collaboration between Porsche Netherlands, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, Porsche Sonderwunsch, and Manthey Racing. The car’s exterior is finished in an individual Pastel Orange color, which honors the national color of the Netherlands. The same color is applied to the air intakes on the carbon fiber hood, the aerodynamic wheel discs, and the Porsche lettering on the rear spoiler.
Other personalized details include tulip logos on the front fenders and a stripe in the colors of the Dutch flag on the rear wing next to the Manthey Racing logo. The 20-inch forged magnesium wheels are finished in matte black, and the rear wheels are covered with aerodynamic carbon fiber discs.
Interior and Accessories
Inside the car, tulips can be seen on the illuminated door sills and on the headrests of the sport seats. The seats are upholstered in black leather and Race-Tex material, which contrasts with orange inserts, embroidery, and door handles.
As a final touch, Porsche offers a personalized key and case, a special Chronograph 718 Cayman GT4 RS, and a thermos mug – all executed in the Pastel Orange shade with an elegant tulip logo.
Technical Features
The “Tulip” is based on the most powerful version of the 718 series: the Cayman GT4 RS. The mid-mounted 4.0-liter flat-six engine generates 495 hp and is paired with an improved suspension. Additionally, the model is equipped with the optional Weissach package and the Manthey kit, making it even more effective on the track.
The Manthey kit, which costs $53,946 plus installation in the USA, adds more aggressive carbon fiber aerodynamic components, such as a larger rear spoiler with an additional element. This allows the model to lap the Nürburgring in 7:03.121 minutes, which is more than 6 seconds faster than the standard GT4 RS.
Exhibition and Availability
The special 718 Cayman GT4 RS will be presented at Circuit Zandvoort during the Dutch Grand Prix weekend on August 29-31. It is unknown whether the model will remain with the importer or be sold to a local client for a high price.
Although the car will remain unique, Dutch Porsche enthusiasts can purchase the special chronograph or the thermos mug. The latter is limited to 718 pieces and is available for order through the Dutch Porsche online store.
The creation of such unique models as the “Tulip” demonstrates how automakers can combine high technology with art, creating true masterpieces on wheels. It also highlights the growing popularity of personalization in the automotive industry, where every client can get something truly unique that reflects their tastes and preferences. Similar projects often become collectible items and retain their value over the years.
