Electric car with Nissan GT-R style at half the original price

In the world of electric vehicles, startups often make a big splash, only to quickly disappear. Human Horizons definitely caught attention when it entered the Chinese electric vehicle market with its release that looked like a four-door Nissan GT-R mixed with a BMW i8 from a sci-fi movie.

However, as we have often observed, flashy debuts rarely guarantee successful long-term activity. Despite its initial promise, Human Horizons soon found itself in financial trouble, ultimately declaring bankruptcy. This misfortune occurred about a year after the launch of the HiPhi Z in Europe, and now two of these rare cars have appeared on the market, looking for new homes and owners, regardless of whether they understand what they are getting into.

Purchasing an electric vehicle from a bankrupt company, like Fisker, is, to say the least, risky. If something goes wrong or, heaven forbid, doesn’t work, you will be left stranded without any technical support.

Now let’s move on to the specifics of what can be purchased.

The one we found is the Z, which is being sold at a price of 69,800 euros (~75,300 dollars). The Z was the most unusual of the three HiPhi models and, when first announced, cost 105,000 euros (~113,200 dollars).

Although we are not exactly sure when this model was delivered to Europe, there are only 50 km on the odometer. Thus, it is still practically new, not considering the lack of financial support, which does not hinder its future prospects at all.

The HiPhi Z is powered by a 120 kWh battery that drives a pair of electric motors with 663 horsepower. From there, it is known that the electric car can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and travel up to 555 km on a single charge. The appearance of the Z evokes a lot of talk, but the cabin also looks impressively luxurious with plenty of premium materials and a large multimedia screen.

The second HiPhi Z on Mobile is a slightly more expensive four-seater version, which was initially offered at 107,000 euros (~115,400 dollars).

This car is slightly more used, with a mileage of 10,000 km (6,200 miles), and the photos show that it was used as a family car with two child seats in the back seat. Its price is 60,000 euros (~64,700 dollars). That is roughly the same as a new BMW 520i in Germany, although the Z is a fully electric car with more power.
