by In Ukraine, special license plates for electric vehicles are finally being introduced. The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law about them a year ago, and now they have finally shown what they will look like. 
The design of the license plates was presented by the Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection, Alexey Ryabchin, reports First Gear. As expected, electric cars received plates with green font. Separate plates will also be given to electric taxis and electric buses – they feature a yellow background.
Moreover, special series with Latin letter designations have been introduced for these plates. Alexey Ryabchin stated that electric vehicle owners are not required to switch to the new license plates, but they will have the option to do so if they wish.
