Escalade IQ Gets Louder, While Staying Silent

The Cadillac Escalade has never been a model of modesty, which is precisely why it remains popular in a market dominated by trends towards restrained SUV designs. This model continues to impress with its boldness, attracting attention on American roads. Such showiness inevitably attracts tuning studios, and now one company has presented its version of the electric Escalade IQ.

This is about Waido — a brand known for its wide body kits and extravagant tuning projects. In its new work, the studio demonstrates a radical rebranding of Cadillac’s electric flagship through a series of detailed renders.

The main changes affected the front end — here, an aerodynamic body kit with expressive lines and an extended spoiler has appeared. The updated design makes the IQ look more aggressive compared to the production version. The image is complemented by widened wheel arches, which add massiveness (although the already bulky crossover hardly needs it). Similar fenders appeared at the rear, and the picture is completed by custom wheels.

The rear has also undergone changes: an updated bumper, a small spoiler, and a diffuser. Of course, no one expects a full-size electric car to suddenly gain the aerodynamic advantages of a sports car, but the visual effect is noteworthy. By the way, with a mass of over 4 tons, the Escalade IQ already puts enough load on the tires without any aerodynamic modifications.

Waido was among the first to present a tuning package for the GMC Hummer EV starting at $9,990. The cost of the kit for the Escalade IQ has not been disclosed yet, but given the use of carbon fiber in the renders, an affordable price is not to be expected.
