The Italian supercar manufacturer Ferrari is preparing its first electric car. The company has already revealed the main characteristics of the model, which, according to preliminary data, will be named Ferrari Elettrica.
The novelty will retain the classic proportions of a two-door coupe — without experiments with the shape. Abandoning the internal combustion engine is already a revolutionary step for Ferrari, so the engineers decided to keep everything recognizable and confident.

The chassis is made mostly of aluminum. The all-wheel-drive system with two electric motors provides a total power of about 1000 horsepower, with the rear drive developing three times more power than the front one. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes only 2.5 seconds.
The most impressive detail is the 122 kWh battery. It provides a energy reserve, but also adds weight: the curb weight of the Ferrari Elettrica will exceed 2.8–3 tons. Therefore, the company positions the car not as a track supercar, but as a luxury electric grand tourer coupe.
Sound is a separate story. Instead of synthetic “fakes” imitating a gasoline roar, Ferrari amplifies the real vibrations of the electric motors, creating a signature atmosphere of motion without falsehood.
The official premiere of the Ferrari Elettrica is scheduled for spring 2026.
And, considering Ukrainian trends — it’s no surprise. This year in Ukraine, electric cars for the first time in history became the most popular among new passenger cars. And if we consider the number of electric Rolls-Royce on our roads, there is no doubt: battery-powered Ferraris will quickly win the hearts of domestic fat cats and cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
