Massive Recalls for Ford and Lincoln
Ford has reached the mark of 104 vehicle recalls in less than nine months, making it the absolute leader among automakers. For comparison, its closest competitor FCA has only 21 recalls, and the total number of recalls for brands like Volkswagen, GM, Mercedes, Honda, and Hyundai combined is only 77.
Problems with LED Headlights
Three of the six new recalls concern issues with parking lights that may flicker when the headlights are turned on. This affects the 2022 F-150 model and impacts 22,166 vehicles. Most of them are being recalled for the first time, but some vehicles require repeat repairs. Dealers will either update the software of the LED driver module or replace the module itself.

Errors in Previous Repairs
One 2024 Mustang vehicle is being recalled due to an unsuccessful previous repair, which could lead to an inoperative instrument panel during startup or driving. The dealer will resolve this issue by updating the panel’s software.

Wiring and Camera Issues
Another recall involves 102 Lincoln Nautilus crossovers from 2024 and 2025 due to a malfunction in the automatic window locking system, which may not respond correctly to obstacles. Dealers are instructed to install the correct software for the door modules. Additionally, Lincoln is also recalling 41,875 Corsair models from 2020–2022 due to potential moisture ingress into the rearview camera connection, resulting in no image. To solve the problem, the camera and wiring will be replaced.

This recall situation indicates systemic problems in quality control and supply chains, which could affect consumer trust in the brand. The number and repetitiveness of the cases suggest the need for more thorough testing before vehicles are released to the market.
