Updated Ford Mustang Mach-E 2025: What’s Changed?
The Ford Mustang Mach-E, which debuted in 2021, quickly became popular due to its performance, comfort, and long range. However, competitors emerged over time, so the company has improved the model for 2025.
Among the key updates are a new stalk gear selector instead of a button one, a standard heat pump for improved efficiency in cold weather, and ventilated seats for the Premium trim. New colors and wheel designs have been added, along with an optional Sport Appearance Package that includes elements from the GT version.

Technical Specifications and Competitors
The Mustang Mach-E offers three battery options (73, 88, and 91 kWh) with ranges from 386 to 515 km (240 to 320 miles). The model is available with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, with power ranging from 264 to 480 hp, allowing acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3–5.6 seconds.
However, competitors such as the Chevrolet Equinox EV and Blazer EV offer similar or better specifications at a lower price, especially considering tax credits. For example, the Equinox EV starts at $33,600 and has a range of up to 513 km (319 miles).
Despite this, the Mustang Mach-E remains an attractive option due to its dynamics, comfort, and technology. The model has received updates but requires more serious changes to fully compete with new electric crossovers.
Interestingly, Ford has lowered the starting price of the Mach-E compared to 2021—it now stands at $37,995. However, the lack of tax incentives may affect the final cost for buyers. Meanwhile, standard equipment includes a digital instrument cluster, a large multimedia screen, and the Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 driver assistance system.
