The new seventh-generation Ford Mustang debuted at the Detroit Auto Show. Sales of the muscle car will start in the summer of 2023.
The 2023 Ford Mustang looks familiar and retains the characteristic silhouette with a long hood and short trunk. However, the front end has become more aggressive due to the wider grille and narrow LED headlights. A new charged version, the Dark Horse, has appeared, featuring a body kit, 19-inch wheels, and a rear spoiler.
The interior of the 2023 Ford Mustang has been completely redesigned and modernized. The front panel now houses two large displays. The Dark Horse features Recaro sports seats.
The new Ford Mustang retains familiar engines: their power is not specified, but it is known that it will slightly increase. The base engine remains the 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo-four with 320+ horsepower, while the 5.0-liter V8 will produce over 460 hp in the GT version and about 500 hp in the Dark Horse.
The muscle car is equipped with a 6-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Dark Horse also features adaptive dampers and Brembo brakes.
