The company Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a unique project for the first time, developed in collaboration with the Rubell Museum in Miami. The concept was named, and it was created by Daimler’s designer Gorden Wagener and Virgil Abloh (fashion designer and clothing designer). Unfortunately, the latter passed away a few days ago…

It was with this car that the Germans decided to honor the memory of the designer Abloh, who, by the way, headed Louis Vuitton’s men’s clothing line. At first glance, it is clear that the goal of this project was to create the most controversial and provocative Maybach in the brand’s history, and indeed in the history of Daimler as a whole.

Inside, the design prototype largely resembles the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, but the seats are like those from the ’70s. The rear end is designed in neo-retro style, the wheels are stamped, and the wings have extensions with rivets.

In addition, the car is lavishly studded with spotlights, there are protective bars, a frame, and the hood is made transparent. Underneath, by the way, solar panels are hidden. The front hints at features of Rolls-Royce and Hongqi. The chopped-off retro-style rear is adorned with a pair of round lights.
Among other features are protective bars with metal plates at the front and rear, eight LED spotlights, bolted wheel arch extensions, and an external safety cage that also functions as a luggage rack. Under the transparent hood, solar panels are installed, which theoretically provide a few extra kilometers of range. Note the curious detail – an axe on the driver’s side.
