An interesting piece of news has come from France. The company Poch is going to revive Tavria. And in an updated format.
At one time, Poch was involved in importing Soviet cars, including Tavria, to France. Moreover, the French even tuned ZAZ.
If revived, Tavria will become the cheapest new car in the world, as Tata Nano has already been taken off the assembly line. This became known today, April 1.
Of course, ZAZ engines do not meet modern eco-standards, so it is possible that the new Tavria will be hybrid or even fully electric.
By the way, at one time, the Tavria electric car was actively tested, so there is some experience in this direction.
