Recently, BMW did what we thought was impossible – released an even more desirable version of the M3 Touring. While BMW was working on the top-model wagon, G-Power developed an upgrade package for the standard M3 Touring, and here it is – the G3M Bi-Turbo.
The team started with the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine of the M3. In the competition version, this engine produces 503 hp and 479 lb-ft (649 Nm) of torque. However, the tuner replaced the factory turbines in favor of larger ones, installed a new exhaust system with 200-cell high-flow catalysts, and tuned the engine software, raising the output to an impressive 789 hp and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm).
G-Power does not provide numbers for acceleration to 60 mph but claims that its flamboyant wagon will not stop accelerating until it reaches a speed of 205 mph (330 km/h), which matches true supercars.
Some of the visual updates look good and some look strange, but we’ll let you decide where best to place them. G-Power added a set of new Hurricane RR wheels with bright orange trim that matches the orange exterior details.
One of the solutions we liked is the carbon hood. Thanks to the large central ventilation grille that helps cool the engine compartment. Other changes include a carbon front splitter, carbon rearview mirrors, and a new carbon diffuser.
The M3 Touring by G-Power – sorry, we meant G3M Bi-Turbo – looks incredibly extravagant on the outside, but it combines this with an interior that is just as impressive. Elegant carbon M bucket seats are upholstered in bright orange leather, which extends to the dashboard and door panels.
