New Stellantis CEO to Receive Million-Dollar Income
New Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa could earn up to $10.2 million in 2025. This is significantly less than his predecessor Carlos Tavares earned, who received about $40 million in 2023. However, Filosa still lags behind the salaries of leaders of other automotive giants, such as Mary Barra from GM and Jim Farley from Ford.
According to official data, Filosa’s base salary will be $1.8 million. He can also receive additional bonuses, which could increase his total income to $10.2 million. In addition, he is entitled to special payments, including tax compensation of $975 thousand annually until the end of 2026.
Comparison with Other Executives
While Filosa receives a significant amount, it is considerably lower than that of leaders of other automakers. For example, Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume earned about $11.8 million last year, and Renault head Luca de Meo earned approximately $6.2 million. At Toyota and Hyundai, executives also receive less than their counterparts in the US.
These figures show how different the compensation of top managers in the global automotive business can be. Although Stellantis is trying to balance costs, the company continues to offer competitive conditions for its leaders to attract and retain the best specialists in the industry.
