The new Porsche 911 Turbo S Lightweight is no longer just a sports car, but a real hypercar: to cover the classic drag distance of a quarter mile (402 meters), it only takes 9.9 seconds. However, this is not the most shocking part. Just imagine: in the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h it is faster than the Koenigsegg Regera RS, Ferrari LaFerrari, and Pagani Zonda R! Only 2.1 seconds!
According to Car and Driver, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Lightweight is the fastest car ever tested by the magazine, accelerating to 48 km/h. It managed to reach this speed in just 0.8 seconds – for comparison, in this time a human heart makes one complete beat.

The main feature of this 911 is its lightweight body. It is approximately 36 kg lighter than the standard Turbo S due to thin but strong glass, the absence of rear seats, front seats made of carbon fiber, and less soundproofing. Additionally, it is slightly lower – about 1 cm – than the standard 911 Turbo S (thanks to Porsche’s proprietary suspension). Under the “hood” of the hypercar is a 3.7-liter flat-six engine producing up to 640 hp and 800 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
