by The company GLUSCO supported the humanitarian mission of the rapid response unit of the Red Cross Society in Ukraine, represented by the ‘Off-Road Adventure Club’. The club provided assistance to the settlements that suffered the most damage from recent floods. Only in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, which was the hardest hit: 197 settlements were flooded, more than 5000 houses damaged, 125 km of roads and 90 bridges destroyed.
In the most inaccessible settlements of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the club’s SUVs delivered 625 packages of medicines, including antibiotics, hemostatic agents, antiseptics, anti-inflammatory, cardiac, antiarrhythmic, and other medicines.
The medications replenished the supplies of medical points in the villages of Verkhovyna. In addition, the SUVs carried essential goods, disinfectants for water purification, hygiene products, and children’s items.
‘The GLUSCO gas station network has supported us in humanitarian missions before, providing the team’s vehicles with quality fuel. And this time they responded immediately after our request,’ noted Dmytro Kovalev, the head of the ‘Off-Road Adventure Club’.
