Trump’s Golf Cart Reminds of a Joke from ‘South Park’, But It’s True

New Armored Golf Cart for Trump

During former US President Donald Trump’s visit to Scotland, an unusual vehicle was spotted in his motorcade – an armored Polaris Ranger XP 1000 golf cart. The four-door vehicle with tinted windows, which some media outlets jokingly called “Golf Force One”, is designed to ensure the president’s safety while moving around golf courses.

Although Trump chose a regular open-top golf cart this time, the armored version can be used in case of emergencies. This is especially relevant after the incident a year ago when an attempt was made on the former president’s life at a golf club in Florida.

Technical Features

According to data listed on the US General Services Administration website, the cost of such an armored Polaris is almost 189 thousand dollars. The vehicle received special armor from the company Scaletta Moloney Armoring Corp. A representative of the US Secret Service confirmed that this vehicle is indeed part of the presidential fleet, but the details of its use remain confidential.

The appearance of such specialized transport underscores the growing security requirements for public figures, especially after recent incidents. Politicians are increasingly turning to non-standard solutions for protection, which sometimes resembles scenes from movies or cartoons. At the same time, this demonstrates how security standards are changing in the modern world, where threats can arise even during leisure time.
