Someone spent $108,000 on painting the ‘Valhalla’, and now wants to get rid of the car

Aston Martin has just started customer deliveries of the mid-engined Valhalla, and it seems one owner is looking to capitalize on the hype by putting the car up for auction to make a quick profit. Undoubtedly, this Aston Martin looks particularly striking.

Exclusive Finish

The first owner clearly wanted his Valhalla to stand out, and with options worth over $360,000, he succeeded. The most expensive option is the Andromeda Red paint at $108,000, which shifts shades from orange to purple, pink, and red depending on the viewing angle.

Beyond the vibrant color, the car features gold-accented details: the front splitter, side skirts, and wheels. Although Aston Martin’s financial figures are not impressive, the company undoubtedly knows how to create beautiful cars.

Purple on Purple

The interior is also very bold. It is trimmed in Deep Purple semi-aniline leather on the seats, door panels, dashboard, steering wheel, and headliner. The rest of the cockpit is covered in exposed carbon fiber, and the engine start button has a gold ring. With all options, this Valhalla had a retail price of $1,479,700, making it one of the most expensive examples to date.

Limited Series and Power

Aston Martin will produce only 999 units of the Valhalla. It can be considered a competitor to the Lamborghini Revuelto and Ferrari 849 Testarossa, but its limited production run makes it closer to models like the Ferrari F80 or McLaren W1.

Power comes from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 817 hp, which, combined with three electric motors, produces a total of 1,064 hp and 1,100 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 350 km/h.

Some collectors wait years before reselling a flagship car. Others, it seems, wait for the delivery truck to leave the neighborhood. The full list of specifications is available via the link if you are interested.

This case shows how the hypercar market reacts to new models: first owners often try to profit from scarcity by putting the car up for auction almost immediately after receiving it. The Valhalla, as a limited edition, has potential for value appreciation, especially with unique options like the Andromeda Red paint. However, the success of such a resale depends on demand among collectors, who may prefer more traditional models from Ferrari or McLaren.
